Welcome to the website of the Indiana Division of the United States Canoe Association!
At the Indiana Division our focus is primarily on paddle racing. We welcome all skill levels
and essentially all paddle craft: canoes, kayaks, surf skis, outrigger canoes, SUP's, and probably something else we haven't thought of. So if the thought of pushing yourself and testing your limits on the water appeals to you, come and join us! We offer racing classes for the recreational paddler and the pro. All are welcome. You'll find our members are extremely helpful to newcomers and willing to share those tips that will make each of us better paddlers. We look forward to seeing you on the water!

DownloadWe fondly will remember (stern paddler) George Tinley who passed away in March: his racing attire of overalls, cap, & mutton-chop sideburns, aluminum/plastic paddle (eventually A carbon paddle), and an old dish soap bottle for a hydration bottle! George took over the Hoosier Regatta from his brother Frank after Frank passed, and did a great job running the race. He typically didn't charge anything, and he always brought interesting classic tools as giveaways. He will be sorely missed!
